Me is poorly

Went on holiday, 3rd day I was there I got a cold. I thought it was something to do with going on fair rides twice in a row (the perils of having 2 kids and a missus that doesn't like fairground rides), but apparently not since quite a few other people appearing to have the same affliction.

This is one reason why I haven't been doing much at the computer and have been playing console games in a bid to feel somewhat better. Last weekend, daughter No.2 had a stomach bug that made her a bit sick, one of those 24 hour bug things. A couple of days ago, daughter No.1 got the bug and she was sick, wasn't tooo bad as she recovered pretty quickly. Guess who's got it now...?

This is probably more information than you need, but have you heard the phrase, 'shit through the eye of a needle'? That's what it's been like for me since last night and despite still having a touch of the cold, it's not so bad now and I'm trying to eat a bit more so I don't have the squits. I haven't had so much of a sniffle in aaaages, then BAM! a cold followed by pebble dashing shits are bestowed upon me.

GTA SA PC WTF LOL

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PS2 ages ago, not 100% with all tags tagged and whatever, but the main game completed. That's why just the other day, I thought I'd take a look at the PC version to see if it was any different and strangely enough, even though I've only played the first half a dozen missions, it's not too different. One thing I was a bit disappointed with was that it doesn't quite support the Xbox 360 pad. It's fine for moving around and doing stuff, but the right analogue stick doesn't work and would be ideal for looking around if it did work in the same way as on the PS2. I've kinda got used to using the keyboard and mouse now, I'm pretty handy with the keyboard when driving and can pull of some good driving skills which I couldn't do with a pad, so I guess I'll just stick to that!

How to change the R4DS theme.ini

Putting a skin on the R4DS is easy, it's just the matter of making 4 8bit or 24bit bitmap (.bmp) images, naming them correctly and transferring them onto the R4 (well, Micro SD card). Making the skin 'work' better is how the text looks and that's where the theme.ini file comes in. In that file are the 'color' commands to tell the R4 what colour text and stuff should be and this post is to show you which 'color' is for what. You can download a basic ini file from here which has the info in the pic on the right there (click for bigger pic) --> There isn't a specific way to 'tell' you how to change the theme.ini, it's just a case of opening it up in notepad and changing the values of each hex number, there's a chart below which has all the basic colours, but if you're after a more obscure colour, using a paint/photo imaging program would be more useful.
