I've been sent a PS3 game?

F.E.A.R. for the PS3Well, for some reason, I've been sent F.E.A.R. for the PS3, but I don't have a PS3 and won't be getting one until it drops to a more reasonable price. The PR guys can't help it though, they don't know whether you have whatever console unless you tell them, but there's always the option to pass it onto someone that could review the game, but I don't know anyone that has a PS3...The Darkness disc

Also shoved through my letterbox this morning was a disc with assets for The Darkness, I wasn't too sure what it was at first when I opened it, that was until I looked at the booklet to find out that the disc contains screenshots, packshots and trailers.

We're still waiting for Mental Gamers to be temporarily re-uploaded so that some news can start up again and we can get back into the swing of things. I've uploaded the DB to the webspace, but without the password, I can't even install the forums which would get people back with us, we'll have the new webspace at the end of the month, let's just hope we don't have a problem getting the site back up on there. :?

GTA SA PC WTF LOL

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PS2 ages ago, not 100% with all tags tagged and whatever, but the main game completed. That's why just the other day, I thought I'd take a look at the PC version to see if it was any different and strangely enough, even though I've only played the first half a dozen missions, it's not too different. One thing I was a bit disappointed with was that it doesn't quite support the Xbox 360 pad. It's fine for moving around and doing stuff, but the right analogue stick doesn't work and would be ideal for looking around if it did work in the same way as on the PS2. I've kinda got used to using the keyboard and mouse now, I'm pretty handy with the keyboard when driving and can pull of some good driving skills which I couldn't do with a pad, so I guess I'll just stick to that!

How to change the R4DS theme.ini

Putting a skin on the R4DS is easy, it's just the matter of making 4 8bit or 24bit bitmap (.bmp) images, naming them correctly and transferring them onto the R4 (well, Micro SD card). Making the skin 'work' better is how the text looks and that's where the theme.ini file comes in. In that file are the 'color' commands to tell the R4 what colour text and stuff should be and this post is to show you which 'color' is for what. You can download a basic ini file from here which has the info in the pic on the right there (click for bigger pic) --> There isn't a specific way to 'tell' you how to change the theme.ini, it's just a case of opening it up in notepad and changing the values of each hex number, there's a chart below which has all the basic colours, but if you're after a more obscure colour, using a paint/photo imaging program would be more useful.
