The day I lost my virginity

Yes, it was last night and what better way of losing my Xbox Live virginity than to a female!

I'd previously subscribed to Xbox Live, but never actually played online with someone (I played the Test Drive Unlimited demo which was apparently online, but didn't know at the time). It wasn't until I was bullied... I mean, asked to play Rock Band with my gaming partner last night that I finally got to play with someone online.

I'll admit I was a teensy bit nervous, dunno why considering who I was playing with, but it was a whole new experience for both of us and we loved it. Since I'm hopeless at vocals (I get less than 95% on easy with half of the songs), my main strength is guitar and bass and since I don't have the drumkit, that's all I can do. Not only that, but due to time differences, we don't usually stop playing until 4-5am and that means I can't exactly do anything too loud or I'll wake the rest of the house up.

We'll no doubt play other stuff in the future which will certainly include Rock Band 2, but for now, we do all kinds of crazy shit and every day is something different.

GTA SA PC WTF LOL

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PS2 ages ago, not 100% with all tags tagged and whatever, but the main game completed. That's why just the other day, I thought I'd take a look at the PC version to see if it was any different and strangely enough, even though I've only played the first half a dozen missions, it's not too different. One thing I was a bit disappointed with was that it doesn't quite support the Xbox 360 pad. It's fine for moving around and doing stuff, but the right analogue stick doesn't work and would be ideal for looking around if it did work in the same way as on the PS2. I've kinda got used to using the keyboard and mouse now, I'm pretty handy with the keyboard when driving and can pull of some good driving skills which I couldn't do with a pad, so I guess I'll just stick to that!

How to change the R4DS theme.ini

Putting a skin on the R4DS is easy, it's just the matter of making 4 8bit or 24bit bitmap (.bmp) images, naming them correctly and transferring them onto the R4 (well, Micro SD card). Making the skin 'work' better is how the text looks and that's where the theme.ini file comes in. In that file are the 'color' commands to tell the R4 what colour text and stuff should be and this post is to show you which 'color' is for what. You can download a basic ini file from here which has the info in the pic on the right there (click for bigger pic) --> There isn't a specific way to 'tell' you how to change the theme.ini, it's just a case of opening it up in notepad and changing the values of each hex number, there's a chart below which has all the basic colours, but if you're after a more obscure colour, using a paint/photo imaging program would be more useful.
