GA: You're Not Getting My Chocolate

So yeah, I'm still playing Skyrim after all this time, still attempting to unlock achievements with the latest being the one where you have a bounty in all nine holds (Master Criminal). I've managed to get a bounty in seven of them, but I encountered a problem when trying to get bountys in Dawnstar and Winterhold.

The problem with Winterhold is that there are only two guards patrolling, the best way of getting a big bounty quickly is to attack and kill a guard, then swiftly exit before it goes too high. I'd killed every guard in Dawnstar and Winterhold without any penalty, not sure if a bug or glitch.

I had fast-travelled to my house in Falkreath (self-built via Hearthfire) and as usual, checked the immediate area for threats/enemies when this guy appeared...

Bounty Collector


He's apparently a Bounty Collector who, as the title suggests, comes to collect any bounty you may have in a hold on behalf of the Jarl, so I decided to follow him and see if he really did go into Falkreath...

Oh, before I go any further, I must add that when he approached asking for payment, the choices were 'Pay 0 Gold' and 'I don't have that much Gold', so I chose to pay 0 Gold, he accepted for some reason and that's when we followed.

Forgetting I had a bounty in Falkreath, the guards attacked, including the Bounty Collector who, despite his cumbrous size, was really rather weak and didn't last long in the fight, so it ended up as more bounty being added instead of removed.

Dang.

GTA SA PC WTF LOL

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PS2 ages ago, not 100% with all tags tagged and whatever, but the main game completed. That's why just the other day, I thought I'd take a look at the PC version to see if it was any different and strangely enough, even though I've only played the first half a dozen missions, it's not too different. One thing I was a bit disappointed with was that it doesn't quite support the Xbox 360 pad. It's fine for moving around and doing stuff, but the right analogue stick doesn't work and would be ideal for looking around if it did work in the same way as on the PS2. I've kinda got used to using the keyboard and mouse now, I'm pretty handy with the keyboard when driving and can pull of some good driving skills which I couldn't do with a pad, so I guess I'll just stick to that!

How to change the R4DS theme.ini

Putting a skin on the R4DS is easy, it's just the matter of making 4 8bit or 24bit bitmap (.bmp) images, naming them correctly and transferring them onto the R4 (well, Micro SD card). Making the skin 'work' better is how the text looks and that's where the theme.ini file comes in. In that file are the 'color' commands to tell the R4 what colour text and stuff should be and this post is to show you which 'color' is for what. You can download a basic ini file from here which has the info in the pic on the right there (click for bigger pic) --> There isn't a specific way to 'tell' you how to change the theme.ini, it's just a case of opening it up in notepad and changing the values of each hex number, there's a chart below which has all the basic colours, but if you're after a more obscure colour, using a paint/photo imaging program would be more useful.
