The Great Size Divide: Why XXL and 2XL Are Not the Same

It’s a tale as old as time, or at least as old as ready-to-wear clothing: you grab what you think is your size, only to find it either swimming on you or restricting your every move. This confusion is amplified when we delve into the seemingly interchangeable world of XXL and 2XL. Many shoppers, and even some retailers, use these terms synonymously, but a closer look reveals a subtle yet significant difference that can make or break your wardrobe choices. Goodbye Facebook Android App for the Last Time

I'd stopped using the Facebook for Android app some time ago, but for some reason, reinstalled it on my phone and even on the tablet, that was until I saw the latest permissions it needed.

I don't care how Facebook try to explain it, there is absolutely NO way they need to access your text messages. Yes, the latest permission the app wants to be able to read is your text messages and I just had to laugh at the reason why.

Facebook Android Permissions

Right there at the top, their excuse is that if you add your number to your account, instead of you manually confirming that you received a code, you give Facebook permission to read the text for you, so you don't have to.

Everything about these permissions is just wrong and especially if you're over-paranoid. Downloading files without notification, sending emails without your knowledge and accessing confidential information is something you would consider as malware.

Facebook try to blame Google for the 'wording' of the permissions, bullcrap. Who knows just what the app can and will access without your knowledge? I'm not willing to take that risk, so I'll stick to using the web browser on my phone and tablet.
