Be Kind, Rewind

After some years, I've finally uploaded a new video to YouTube.

I've been wanting to upload something for quite a while, but my old i5/GTX 1050Ti laptop wasn't really cutting it.

I could play games, but since newer games are requiring higher graphics cards, I needed something better.

It took a while for me to have a good search around and find something affordable, but good enough to last a while.

That's when I saw an HP Omen laptop on Amazon which was refurbished, around £780 and came with a nice surprise.

It came with a HyperX Cloud III headset which hadn't been opened, it was still brand new, sealed in the original box.

Then the specs...

The thing is, whoever owned the laptop before had doubled the RAM, so it has 32GB of 5600Mhz DDR5 instead of just 16GB.

It seems you can't buy this particular laptop anymore and it's only from mid-2024. It was in perfect condition, like it was barely used or a demonstration model or something.

Anyway, I finally got around to recording my first gaming video on it and uploaded to YouTube for all to see.

I'm still figuring out some technical things and reacquainting myself with OBS, but it didn't turn out too bad...
