Fixing the Ferry Engine & Crafting the Weaver

It’s been a little while since my last recording, I honestly just needed a bit of a mental break to recharge, but it feels great to be back behind the wheel.

We are picking up exactly where we left off, and the main mission today is getting that ferry fully operational.

We hit a really nice milestone by repairing the ferry engine over at the dry dock, but as with all things in this game, it’s a multi-step process.

To get the ferry's transport balloons working, we desperately need Strong Weave, which meant going on a massive hunt for the Weaver blueprint.

A first-person perspective screenshot from the game Outbound, showing a colorful, cozy camper parked in a canyon environment near a small makeshift campsite.

After a bit of off-roading through uncharted canyon territories and driving up north toward the Hot Horizons area, my prayers were finally answered at a random signal tower campsite.

We also squeezed in some fishing, catching a new Pebble Prowler, and finally got around to unlocking the Sickle III.

While I was cruising around gathering scrap metal and hyperfiber, I chatted a bit about my latest desk setup changes.

I’ve officially ditched my big, bulky headset for the Moondrop Chu II DSP in-ear monitors.

Honestly, pairing those IEMs with my Yeti Orb mic on my minimalist setup has been a total game-changer.

The sound isolation is fantastic, and once you tweak the EQ presets in the app, the audio quality makes these long, cozy gaming sessions so much better without the usual head fatigue.

I'll be grinding out the rest of the resources for the Strong Weave off-camera so we can get straight to the good stuff next time.
