Surviving the Night (And Crashing… Twice)

If you’ve been following the channel, you know I’ve been heavily invested in my Drive Beyond Horizons playthrough.

Well, Episode 15 is finally up, and let me tell you, this one really tested my patience on the road.

If you’ve played this game, you already know the drill: the nights are ridiculously, punishingly dark.

I was actually driving straight through the pitch black before hitting the record button because I know how terrible it looks on video when you literally can’t see a thing.

To top it off, I managed to crash the car not once, but twice in the dark.

I lost the engine cover (well, the hood/trunk situation) and smashed a taillight.

Thankfully, I was able to find a replacement Tomahawk headlight that is way brighter than my old Froggy one, which is an absolute lifesaver.

 Most of this episode is all about the desperate scavenge.

After surviving the night, the immediate priority was securing some food, a decent drink, and trying to fix the absolute state of my vehicle.

We made a few stops at some rundown junkyards and a sketchy roadside "notel."

I’m still hoping to gather enough parts to completely swap over to the Froggy car eventually, but for now, we're stuck slapping whatever mismatched bumpers and doors we can find onto this rusty machine.

I also finally got my hands on a cleaning brush, which was incredibly satisfying.

It sounds silly, but getting all that apocalyptic grime off the doors was a highlight.
