We are diving into episode two of I Need to Fix My Dream Car today, and things are getting both incredibly productive and incredibly frustrating.
You know I love a good cozy simulation game where you just tidy things up and rebuild cool stuff. My hardware, however, is absolutely testing my patience in this one.
In this episode, we make some serious progress around the junkyard.
I finally managed to upgrade my power washer, which makes cleaning off rusted parts so much faster, and we unlocked the massive magnetic crane!
We also upgraded our character's power stats, so I am literally launching boxes of junk halfway across the yard now.
The best part is definitely still the dog companion. Doggo keeps fetching random parts like heavy engines and dropping them right at my feet. It is easily my favourite feature of the game so far.
Now onto the frustrating part.
For some reason, my crosshair keeps randomly flicking and janking around the screen.
I am running this game on a blazing fast Gen 4 NVMe drive, yet my Logitech G502 X mouse is doing me dirty.
It only happens in this specific game! I am seriously debating investing in one of those extra large desk mouse pads just to see if the table surface is messing with the sensor tracking.
Despite the technical headaches, we still managed to clear out a ton of scrap, repair a bunch of engines, and test out the new golden DLC magnet on the crane.
Check out the video below, and let me know in the comments if you have any fixes for this weird mouse glitch!
