My Many GTA V Faces

Anyone who has played (or watch a Let's Play video of) Grand Theft Auto V knows that there are three protagonists, you select Mike, Franklin or Trevor by holding down 'Down' on the D-pad.

GTA V Character Wheel If you have been online with GTA, a fourth character is displayed in the character 'wheel' for you to select if you want to hop online at any moment. My character had somehow changed from when I last went online.

As you can see in the image on the right there, the bottom character is the one I use online and because the last time I went online was about a week or more ago, he's still dressed in a Santa outfit.

So imagine my surprise as I went online just last night briefly and saw that not only had my online character been stripped of his Santa outfit, but had also been given a haircut!

What happened? Also, I've just realised by looking at the images that my glasses are gone!

GTA SA PC WTF LOL

I completed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the PS2 ages ago, not 100% with all tags tagged and whatever, but the main game completed. That's why just the other day, I thought I'd take a look at the PC version to see if it was any different and strangely enough, even though I've only played the first half a dozen missions, it's not too different. One thing I was a bit disappointed with was that it doesn't quite support the Xbox 360 pad. It's fine for moving around and doing stuff, but the right analogue stick doesn't work and would be ideal for looking around if it did work in the same way as on the PS2. I've kinda got used to using the keyboard and mouse now, I'm pretty handy with the keyboard when driving and can pull of some good driving skills which I couldn't do with a pad, so I guess I'll just stick to that!

How to change the R4DS theme.ini

Putting a skin on the R4DS is easy, it's just the matter of making 4 8bit or 24bit bitmap (.bmp) images, naming them correctly and transferring them onto the R4 (well, Micro SD card). Making the skin 'work' better is how the text looks and that's where the theme.ini file comes in. In that file are the 'color' commands to tell the R4 what colour text and stuff should be and this post is to show you which 'color' is for what. You can download a basic ini file from here which has the info in the pic on the right there (click for bigger pic) --> There isn't a specific way to 'tell' you how to change the theme.ini, it's just a case of opening it up in notepad and changing the values of each hex number, there's a chart below which has all the basic colours, but if you're after a more obscure colour, using a paint/photo imaging program would be more useful.
