The Great Size Divide: Why XXL and 2XL Are Not the Same

It’s a tale as old as time, or at least as old as ready-to-wear clothing: you grab what you think is your size, only to find it either swimming on you or restricting your every move. This confusion is amplified when we delve into the seemingly interchangeable world of XXL and 2XL. Many shoppers, and even some retailers, use these terms synonymously, but a closer look reveals a subtle yet significant difference that can make or break your wardrobe choices. The core of the discrepancy lies in the sizing conventions adopted by different manufacturers and for different types of clothing. Generally, XXL is an extension of standard alpha sizing (S, M, L, XL), while 2XL often signifies a true "plus" or "big and tall" size. "I used to just assume they were the same," admits Sarah Jenkins, a 34-year-old marketing professional. An Ask for (Female) Gaming YouTubers

Before I start, I'd like to point out that this isn't a sexist or misogynist attack, an attempt to call out 'fake girl gamers' or to discourage anyone in any way. Oh, and these are personal opinions, you don't have to agree, so don't be a dick by trying to argue.

The first ask I must make is not to have the mic so close to your face and especially directly in front of it if you're going to let out an ear-piercing high-pitched squeal at random moments for no reason. Why do you do that? I actually got a headache from someone doing that.

Second, laughing for no apparent reason why also letting out intermittent high-pitched squeals, why? Personally, it annoys me and I either drop the sound down to minimum or just browse away and not watch any more of their videos.

It seems so fake to me. I'm like, why are you doing this? Anyone can show how useless they are at video games, but it seems to be a bit of a trend starting to become more popular on YouTube and for me, it's already stale.

If you enjoy playing games with your friends or just on your own, great, keep doing that, that's not the issue. Just please don't become another laughing squealer, be original, be yourself, don't listen to or take ideas from existing YouTubers, you don't have to be loud and obnoxious to win fans.

Like I said, that's just my opinion. I know my videos aren't the best or I'm not the most exciting person, but I'm me. I don't try to be something I'm not for the sake of anyone and so should you. If people don't like you for who and what you are, there are many more who will.
