I am still battling this head cold, but the main takeaway is I can actually talk today without sounding completely stuffed up.
The noise gate on my mic is working overtime on the sniffles though!
Today we are jumping right back into the Zero to South demo on Steam.
I honestly thought it would be a simple drive to the next truck stop, but it turned into absolute chaos. First, it gets pitch black and I cannot sleep because my character is apparently too buzzed.
Then I run straight into a bandit roadblock. They laid out a tire stinger, and when I tried to fight them off, one of the bandits literally one-punched me. One punch!
But that is not even the worst part.
The absolute most embarrassing mistake I have ever made in a simulation game happened right after.
My car battery completely died. I panicked and ran miles down the dark road on foot to a gas station, desperately trying to buy a replacement battery or a repair kit.
The guy there had absolutely zero batteries. I ran all the way back to my car, absolutely convinced it was game over.
Do you know what I actually had to do?
Push it.
Yes, you just push the car to charge the battery. I wasted so much time running around in the dark when all it needed was a little physical shove.
It makes you want to cry sometimes!
Despite my total lack of common sense, it is a brilliant indie game.
Make sure you wish list Zero to South on Steam, and I will catch you in the next one!
