This means so much to me, I never thought I would be able to complete it without starting a new game, as soon as I saw that the person was actually there and not just an arrow pointing to the ground, I was in total disbelief and couldn't kill them quick enough!
It's been good to finish off some long awaited quests recently, but this one has been the most important, now I can actually progress and complete all of it! I was suffering from the bug that stopped the Silver Hand Leader respawning due to having cleared the location before doing the quest, all that would be there every time I entered Redoran's Retreat was an arrow indicator, but nobody was there.
I'm not sure how it got fixed, but I'm extremely happy that I got to complete something that I haven't been able to do for months (real time), now I can carry on searching for dragon shouts to complete them all...
