Ferry Fixed and Research Center Found

Welcome back to another instalment of my Outbound playthrough!

In Episode 33, we hit what might just be the absolute biggest milestone of the series so far: we finally gathered enough hyperthread and materials to repair the transport ferry.

It took a serious grind to get everything needed, but seeing the ferry operational and snagging that achievement was ridiculously satisfying.

With that major task out of the way, Paprika and I loaded up the camper and hit the open road to explore the rest of the map.

On our way toward the main objective, we took a slight detour to check out a scenic desert oasis.

We took a brief break to cast a line and ended up catching a couple of brand-new fish species, including the Silver Jumper and the Blue Flame Dart.

I also made sure to grind down some Amberstone to upgrade my gear at the sewing table, because exploring new biomes requires proper gear.

Our primary destination for the episode was the massive Research Center landmark.

Once we arrived, we discovered that the facility features sample domes requiring specific plants, crops, and minerals to complete.

Thanks to hoarded supplies from previous runs, we were able to turn in several items like grain, coarse ore, and indigo caps right off the bat.

We still need to hunt down raw coffee beans to finish the last dome, but we cleared out the bulk of the landmark requirements.
