Finally Unlocking the Ferry (And Finding the Foggy 4th Area!)

If you’ve been keeping up with my recent batches of recordings, you know how absolutely addicted I’ve been getting to this game.

In episode 34, we’re back on the road, exploring the outer edges of the map and trying to figure out where the heck to find specific resources.

The game really doesn't hold your hand, does it?

Thankfully, I finally stumbled across some salt flats and grabbed some much-needed raw coffee beans.

Upgrading my pants to boost my sprint stamina definitely paid off for all this running around!

I also managed to squeeze in a bit of fishing, though my epic catch mostly turned out to be an old boot.

While driving around, I went on a bit of a tangent about the behind-the-scenes of the Mental Gamers website.

My old unlimited web hosting costs jumped from 36 quid all the way up to 80 quid a year, which is just insane to me.

I'm currently looking into switching to Net Nerds as a cheaper alternative.

I also chatted about how tempted I am to pick up Solar Punk because it shares a very similar vibe to this, and gave my two cents on avoiding dodgy key reseller sites like G2A.

But the biggest moment of the episode has to be the ferry.

I finally drove my vehicle onto it, thinking it would just open up a blocked section of our current map.

Nope! It completely transported me to a brand new, fourth map area.

It is ridiculously foggy, to the point where I could barely see two feet in front of me, but it looks like there's a new tower looming in the distance.

We'll be exploring that mysterious new zone properly next time!
